Privacy Policy for PicFly
Last Updated: February 2, 2026
IndieDev Creations operates the PicFly mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
1. Data Collection and Usage
Although PicFly is an offline game, the developer does not personally collect, access, or share your data with any third parties.
However, certain information is processed to provide support, analyze app performance, and bug fixes as detailed below.
Email Address: We collect your email address only if you voluntarily contact us for support or bug reporting. This is used for Developer Communications and Support. This collection is optional.
App Performance & Diagnostics: We only receive Crash Logs or Diagnostic data if you explicitly choose to send it to us via the in-game "Crash Report", "Bug Report" or "Contact Us" feature. This data is used solely to help us identify and fix technical issues you have reported. No diagnostic data is collected automatically without your direct action.
2. Third-Party Data Collection (Advertising)
While PicFly is an offline game and the developer does not personally collect, store, or have access to your App Activity or Device Identifiers, the App includes the Google AdMob SDK.
To provide advertisements, the AdMob SDK automatically handles:
Device Identifiers: Such as the Android Advertising ID, used by Google to prevent fraud and limit how many times you see the same ad.
Approximate Location: The App utilizes the Google AdMob SDK, which may use your IP address to determine an approximate location (region or city). This is used solely to show relevant ads and prevent fraud. The developer of PicFly does not have access to this location data.
App Interactions: Technical logs of ad clicks and app launches to ensure the advertising system functions correctly and to calculate developer revenue.
Important: This data is transmitted directly from your device to Google’s servers. The developer of PicFly does not store this data on any private servers and cannot identify individual users through this information.
3. Data Sharing
PicFly is an offline game. The developer does not personally collect, access, sell your personal data or share your data with any third parties.
However, the App utilizes third-party software (SDKs) required for advertising and technical stability. These services handle data independently:
Google AdMob: To enable in-game advertising, the App utilizes the AdMob SDK which automatically transmits technical identifiers (Device IDs), approximate location, and interaction data to Google.
Google Play Services: Technical diagnostic data and crash logs are transmitted automatically to Google's systems to monitor app stability and fix bugs.
4. Data Processing and Security
Encryption in Transit: All data collected is transferred using secure protocols (HTTPS/TLS) to ensure your information is protected while moving from your device to our servers or third-party servers.
Ephemeral Processing: Data is not processed ephemerally. It is stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy (e.g., fixing a bug reported via email).
5. Your Rights and Data Deletion
We respect your privacy rights.
Optional Collection: You can use PicFly without ever providing your email address.
Data Deletion: If you have previously contacted us via email and wish for that data to be deleted, or if you wish to request the deletion of any other data associated with you, please use our Data Deletion Form.
6. Children’s Privacy
PicFly does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
